Our Story
HMCS was started by William Altmiller in 2008 to meet consumer demands for Homeopathic services in the southern-central California area. William is a second generation homeopath, Doctor of Pharmacy, and is currently enrolled at the American University of Complementary Medicine http://www.aucm.org in Beverly Hills, California. William is completing his Doctorate in Homeopathic Medicine and is also on the faculty at the university in the western sciences department. This university is distinguished as it is the only educational institution of its kind licensed by the California Department of Consumer Affair's Bureau for Private Post-Secondary Vocational Education (BPPVE)."
At HMCS we offer a full range of Homeopathic services. The Homeopathic consultations offered are one-on-one with highly trained practitioners; each client is assured they will work with the same practitioner for the duration of their treatment. To meet the needs of all our clients we offer phone consultations as well. Please see the "Services" tab for additional information.

- Is the staff available for telephone consultations throughout the treatment period?
Clients are free to consult with staff at any time.
- Does the clinic have an email address?
Any email correspondence to the clinic should be directed to inhomehealth@aol.com. Please use the client's name as a subject and a contact number with the best time to call so we will respond promptly to your inquiry.
- What do I do if I am unable to make an appointment?
Two week notice is required for initial consultations, and 48 hours notice is required to be given by anyone who is unable to attend a booked follow-up appointment. This notice can be given by phone or email.
Any cancellation not made within 48 hours of the appointment will be charged and the client will be billed the total amount of the appointment cost.
- Will I be able to obtain the details of the medicines I receive, including the name and ingredients?
Initially, during the course of treatment the remedies are not disclosed to the client. We prefer offer our clients the freedom to experience the full effects of each remedy without any hint of suggestion. During all the follow-up consultations, all the details and information regarding the medicines will be disclosed to the client.
- Can the medicines be taken during pregnancy and are they safe for all people to take?
Due to the use of only natural and safe ingredients, anyone can take Homeopathic remedies at any time. They are considered completely safe for children, elderly people and pregnant women. They are also regulated by the US Food and Drug Administration. http://www.fda.gov
- Is there any problem with taking Homeopathic remedies at the same time as other conventional medicines and/or herbal remedies?
Most clients who are given Homeopathic remedies are taking some form of conventional medicine or receiving another form of medical treatment. There are no drug interactions with these medications being taken alongside Homeopathic remedies. Although, after taking Homeopathic remedies for a while, clients may notice their symptoms lessen. At this time, we recommend them see their primary care provider to see about receiving a lower dosage of their conventional medicines.
